the advertising world there are many logos make use of symmetry.

Some logos have line symmetry and others have rotational
symmetry.

These
two Australian TV station logos use both types of symmetry.

The
ABC logo has two lines of line symmetry and rotational symmetry
of order two.

The
dots in the Channel Nine logo have four lines of line symmetry

and rotational symmetry of order four.
